KONA SOLIDS FABRIC GUIDE

You can use this guide to make quilts in the same color palettes shown on the pattern cover, using only Kona Solids. (Use the same background and detail fabrics listed on the pattern back.)

ABOUT THE PATTERN

Making these adorable farm animals made me smile, and I hope it does the same for you! Sampler quilts in two sizes include Horse, Cow, Goat, Chicken, Pig, Sheep, Bee, Strawberry, and Sunflower blocks.

Make a 75” x 77” Large Quilt with 4 of each block, or a 38” x 39” Small Quilt with one of each. The Large Quilt is made with fat quarters, or a combination of fat quarters and fat eighths, and the Small Quilt is made with fat eighths.

Fab Farm quilts are made using conventional patchwork. No templates or paper piecing!

CORRECTIONS

There are two corrections to the first printing of the pattern. I apologize for this confusion!

First, on Page 27, the pattern says to cut pieces LL for the Chicken Block to 1-½” x -½”. This should be 1-½” x 1-½”, and is correctly referenced in the chart on Page 25.

Second, the position of fabrics 1A/1B and 2A/2B for the Horse were reversed in the chart on Page 6. The corrected chart is shown below. All current versions of the pattern, including all of the patterns in Robert Kaufman kits, reflect this correction. This correction is about references to the specific fabrics I used to make my sample quilt. There are no corrections to yardages, piece sizes, or any part of the instructions for piecing the Horse blocks.

If you purchased a Robert Kaufman kit, the pattern in your kit includes the corrected pattern.
