Cockatoos, Toucans, Cockatiels, Macaws, and Lorikeets! These feathered friends may not live together in the wild, but they make a happy, colorful (and probably pretty loud) family in this fat-quarter-friendly sampler quilt. Make a 69” x 79” Large Quilt with 40 fat quarters, or a 36” x 37” Small Quilt with 10 fat quarters. The blocks are made entirely of square and rectangular pieces sewn together using conventional patchwork techniques. No templates or paper piecing!

The pattern includes a chart that shows the Kona Solids I used in my own quilt samples. You can use the same fabric or use my chart as a guide for selecting your own fabrics. Whichever fabrics and colors you use, the guide will help you to distribute them evenly throughout the quilts.
