I mentioned the other day that my friends had been pushing me to finish the pattern for the Sewing Circle Tote. This is another pattern that I've been asked to publish, and I'm happy to say that both the Iron Cozy and the Sewing Circle Tote patterns will be available on Monday, April 1.
After several years of juggling my sewing supplies in multiple, not-quite-right bags to and from sewing circle, I finally decided to make a single bag specifically for that purpose.
I'm finally back from Austin and will post about the wonderfulness that was QuiltCon as soon as I get a few hours of sleep! In the meantime, my first order of business is reopening my shop and listing a new pattern.
The Marmalade quilt was designed for and displayed at QuiltCon 2013 and one lucky winner (who we'll announce on the MQG blog shortly) will get to call it their own. The pdf pattern was included on the Pattern Mixtape thumb drive from the QuiltCon goodie bags and is now available available for purchase individually.
Through March 3, take 25% off your purchase of 2 or more patterns by using the discount code MARMALADE at checkout.
I've been working for a long time on a tote pattern to go along with Perfect Zip Bags and I'm happy to announce that Perfect Quilted Totes will be available in my shop this coming Monday, November 26.
11/1/12 Update: If you're coming from Fat Quartlerly, welcome! Enter the code FQHOLIDAY at checkout to take 20% off the Refrigerator Magnets Quilt Blocks pattern.
I said this before, but I'll say it again. I can't wait to see what people make!
Thank you all for the wonderful comments you've been leaving about my Periodic Table quilt!
While working on the many (many, many) blocks for that quilt, I read your questions about whether there would be a pattern and I thought a lot about my process for making the blocks, how it could be improved upon, and how it could be communicated in a pattern.
