It's time for more snowy photos! Sadly, there's no snow in Portland, but my Blogger's Choice fat quarter bundle for the Fat Quarter Shop is winter-themed, so I was lucky to get these photos of my quilt top when I was at Black Butte last week.
Another item crossed off the WIP list! This is my Icy Improv Pods Quilt. This top and back have been finished for a while, but I just finished the quilt this past weekend. The finished quilt is approximately 38" x 48". That's a pretty small quilt for me!
I can't belive we're already a third of the way through December! With the end of the year approaching, I thought it was a good time to take stock of my WIPs, which you can see stacked up on the table here.
I've been working for a long time on a tote pattern to go along with Perfect Zip Bags and I'm happy to announce that Perfect Quilted Totes will be available in my shop this coming Monday, November 26.
It's hard to believe that it's been several months since I filmed two classes for Craftsy! For those of you who aren't familiar with Craftsy, it's a website where you can take video classes on a number of DIY topics. Craftsy classes are great because you can watch them at home, at any time of the day or night. You have access to the class forever, which means you can work at your own pace and revisit any part of the class as many times as you want (in your pajamas in the middle of the night, if you like).
This is part of a year-long series of posts about the quilts from Modern Patchwork. I'm highlighting a different quilt each month, and will be remaking each of the book quilts in some way. This month, I'm making a new version of the Rapid City quilt, which is on Pages 42 - 51 in Modern Patchwork.
I'm making progress on the Rapid City holiday quilt that I started last week.
