Did you know that the Modern Quilt Guild is up to 38 branches all over the world? Wow! With that many quilters involved, there are bound to be many different perspectives on what, exactly "modern quilting" means.

A lot of you have probably read about Alissa's exploits setting up and participating in the Los Angeles Modern Quilt Guild. She has challenged the rest of us to set up our own outposts, so I'm trying to get something together in Portland (Oregon).
