This is part of a year-long series of posts about the quilts from Modern Patchwork. I'm highlighting a different quilt each month, and will be remaking each of the book quilts in some way. Right now, I'm working on a new version of Glam Garlands (pages 24 - 33 of Modern Patchwork). I'm using my Glam Garlands pattern, but integrating elements of Alissa Haight-Carlton's Drip Quilt from Modern Minimal. You can see my post about that here, my post about making the blocks here, and my post about the quilt top here.
For this quilt back, I mostly used the same layout/directions from the book.
I'm posting today as part of the blog tour for Tacha Bruecher's new book, Hexa Go-Go, which is a fabulous collection of quilt projects featuring English paper pieced hexagons. You can find a schedule of the other blog tour posts here.

This week, I finished all of the blocks and sewed them together into columns to create the garlands/drips for the quilt top. It was a lot of fun to use so many little scraps!
