I'm participating in a great round robin/bee that requires me to start a quilt and then send it along to another quilter. It will get passed around the group during the next year and come back to me as a finished quilt.
My block, with journal and extra fabric, all ready for its journey!
I had a hard time deciding what to make for this project but, in the end, I decided to just go with something fun. I'm really hoping that my fellow bee members won't shun me for making them work with these colors!
I won't be able to talk about the other quilts I work on in the meantime, but I'll take pictures so that I can report back next year!
The canary and chartreuse solids aren't quilt shop fabric, but I bought them because they were the more intense I could find in 100% cotton. Comparable colors for the rest are: Kona Tangerine and Free Spirit Orange, Fuschia, Hot Rose, and Hummingbird Blue.
