My local sewing circle did a handmade gift exchange this past weekend and, now that it's no longer a secret, I would love to tell you about what I made.
The person whose name I drew has a beautiful home which, at this time of year, is filled with sparkly vintage ornaments. I decided to make her a holiday throw quilt inspired by the colors and sparkle of her ornaments.
I was also inspired by this pillow cover that Amber made, and decided to piece Mo's quilt in a similar way.
I raided my stash for prints and solids in hot pink, soft pink, aqua, turquoise, teal, lime green, chartreuse and gray. There are too many prints here to list, but here they are. All cut out and ready to piece!
