Like so many of you, I've been wanting to do something to help those affected by the recent earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
The American Red Cross has set up a fund for the affected area. I just made a donation and urge you to do the same. You can donate here.
I'm also giving away my Tokyo Subway Map quilt to a blog reader. To enter the giveaway, make a donation to the American Red Cross International Disaster Relief Fund. Donate, come back and leave a comment with the last 7 digits of the tracking number on your receipt. I'll keep entries open through next Wednesday, March 23, at which time I'll use the Random Number Generator to select a winner for the quilt.

Japan was my home for two years when I taught on the Misawa AFB. I am deeply saddened to see my adopted country suffer.
