I just finished quilting and binding our February quilt for the do.Good Stitches Charity Bee.
The nine quilters in my circle each made two blocks using my Mod Mosaic technique.
One block from each of the quilters is featured on the front (Kona Ash background) and the other on the back. You can read more about the process of making the quilt top and back here.
Here's a shot of the back with a Kona Turquoise background.
I free-motion quilted in a jaggedy, angular pattern -- kind of like random lightning strikes. I thought the mosaic blocks had a shattered look to them, so I wanted something similar for the quilting.
This quilt is now boxed and on its way to Wrap Them in Love. Thank you to everyone who contributed blocks. I think our quilt turned out beautifully!
