Echino Improv Quilt: Block Four

I'm making progress!  Here's Block Four.

Here are the Echino pieces I used.

And here they are with the solids I selected.

My quick sketch for this block included a pieced area in the lower left corner featuring a wonky cross.

Here are the pieces I used for the wonky cross area.

 I started with two columns with little Ivory pieces in the middle.

Then, I pieced the columns together with an Ivory strip in the center.

I filled in the negative space around the wonky cross with a Citron solid.

Then, I made pieced a strip for the top and another for right side of the block.

I added the top strip first.

And I finished the block by adding the other strip to the right side.

This is what the finished block looks like squared up to 15" x 15".

And here's what it looks like with the other four blocks that I made this week.
