I got an early start on my holiday sewing last weekend with this New Wave quilt, featuring preppy greens, browns, and blues.
I quilted this one in a back-and-forth scallop pattern along each of the "waves" and along each row of sashing.
I used a large piece of one of the Modern Meadow prints on the back, along with a little pieced strip detail.
The fabrics I used for the quilt top are from this lovely fat quarter bundle from Fabricworm. (I just love that Modern Meadow herringbone print!)
I used some of my scraps to make this little cordinating pillow. The pillow front is a block from the Little Leaves pattern in my book.
For both projects, I used custom templates from the wonderful Jill of Tabslot, who has New Wave templates available for purchase in her shop.
I've also sent some of the Little Leaves templates to Fabricworm, who will include a set with each of this month's fat quarter bundles!
