I finished the flannel and corduroy quilt that I've been making with the Snapshots pattern from my book! Most of the flannel is from the lovely Forest Friends collection from Cloud9.
The binding is chocolate corduroy.
I quilted this one in a free-motion pattern of climbing vines.
The grid created by the pieced squares was very helpful for this style of quilting. I quilted one "vine" from the bottom to the top of each column of squares.
I find that, with FMQ, it's much easier to pull the quilt toward me, piling it up on my chest and shoulders as I work.
Here's the finished quilt all folded up. I'm so happy with the way this turned out!
