I'll admit that I'm not a big fan of purple but, as my fabric collection was sorely lacking in that area, I thought I would make an effort to find some good purple prints.
The print in the background is a large-scale Kokka Trefle print. The others are are, from left to right, Lecien Color Basics dot and gingham (from Sew, Mama, Sew), Kokka floral, Sevenberry flamingos, and another Kokka Trefle floral print (these all from Cool Cottons).
Also, I've been getting a lot of questions about the Simple Modern Baby Quilts pattern. This pattern has been discontinued. An updated version will be available shortly. The new version will dispense with the Minky back and animal appliques, and will include more practical information about choosing and cutting fabric (including for a simple pieced quilt back). I hope to have it in the shop soon!
