beth

they are both super cute and the pocket in the back is a great addition!

Live a Colorful Life

the pocket is a great idea!

Lucky you: to be living in Portland, and going a Modern Quilt Guild meeting tonight.

Lucky someone: to receive these potholders.

P.S. How large are they?

Nancy

Thes potholders are so cute that it shouldn't matter if they match anyone's kitchen. When I reach for my pretty potholders, I just hope that I don't get gooey or greasy food on them.

Jacquie

These are GREAT! I really love the pocket idea too. Any chance you'll share a quick how-to?

Katie

I love the pocket for your hand, I have been making a lot of potholders, and this is a great idea!

Miq

tutorial? please :)

Andie

I was just thinking about some potholders today for a friend who loves to cook. A tutorial would be great!! I too love the hand pocket, I have not seen that on any patterns, Brilliant!!! I would pay for this pattern. You go girl!! I so enjoy your blog. I have finally finished my 9 patch lattice quilt and will have a super duper hard time giving it to my mom for mother's day!!

Natalie

I really like how you added a little extra bit of a different color in the binding. So cute!!

Brittany

I love the pocket too!

duff

crazy cute! anyone receiving these will be thanking her lucky stars!

Enjoy the meeting! A pot holder swap sounds like fun. Our guild hasn't gotten around to any swaps or challenges yet. I love the two you made. The pocket is a great feature.

I have a 70's orange kitchen--on purpose! I love it!
when the plumber came to do some work on our reno and we were in the midst of painting he asked if the orange was the old colour or the new colour--I think he hoped it was the old colour ;)

Q

Very nice. and very useful.

Kristine

Those pockets are so cool! Tutorial? :-)

Krista - Poppyprint

The pockets are the bees knees! Have a great meeting - hope you get some lovely potholders in return.

Lynz Graham

Wow, genius pockets!!! I'm a huge green fan (favourite colour) but have to say my favourite is the orange one! Must be a child-of-the-seventies thing...

Melissa P

Great idea, Kerri. The pockets are devine!

Melissa P

Shoot... I just called you by another person's name. I am soooo sorry. I had a temporary brain f**t. I know you're name is Elizabeth, I swear...

Cameron H

Adding my voice to the chorus asking for a tutorial -- your tutorials are the best! Your blog has taught me to quilt!!!

Andi

Sweet! Just finished a pair for myself this week but they're not nearly as clever as yours. Love them!

Jeannie

Those are so cute! I love the back idea!

Annalia

Are you kidding? The orange one is beautiful! ...I'm actually thinking of putting up a nice orange curtain up in my kitchen (since my husband has VERY conservative ideas about paint).

Munaiba

They're lovely - 70s or not. :)

kimberj

Oh I really love these especially the pockets. What a nice housewarming goodie along with handmade placemats and napkins. Thank you again for sharing your work, its always very inspiring!

My orange kitchen aid, would love the 70's inspired one. I so wish I could go to the meeting tonight! Instead we are off to the blazer game, its the play offs, should be a blast. Anyway I did get to work on my mixed tape quilt today so I can't complain. You are the best. I wouldn't know how to quilt without you and I really appreciate everything you are doing for the modern quilt guild. Now if only I could find more time to participate so I could meet you and learn more.
