These are blocks that I made for the Paintbox Quilt-Along. Read more about it here.
Whew! It took longer than I wanted it to, but I've now finished all 160 blocks (80 per quilt).
While I may have been a bit ambivalent about the purple blocks from last week (aka yesterday) I just adore these!
It really looks like I got two of my prints switched around. I suspect that 1974 plaid should have been with the Coal block and that both Kei Honeycomb dots were supposed to go with the Ash block. Whatever. It adds some variety. In the immortal words of Bob Ross, it was a "happy accident."
And here are the brown and black blocks. The black is really, really bold compared to the others, but I think it's going to be fine. I had a single black and white block in my original paintbox quilt and I don't think it looked weird.
