This post is about blocks that I made for the Painbox Quilt-Along. You can join at any time!
My stack of blocks is growing!
This week, I made yellow blocks. I love how bright and cheerful they look.
As always, please refer to my photos on Flickr for more about the fabrics.
And here are my variation blocks for the week, made with Kona Snow and Amy Butler Daisy Chain.

Love the yellow's! Really must do the variation blocks. They have such a crisp look.

Your piecing is so straight and the edges are so crisp! I think that's what I lose with hand piecing.

Hi Elizabeth, I am totally in awe of your quilts. You seem to always know just how to take best advantage of the beautiful fabrics that you use. I have been trying to analyze what I find most appealing about your quilts and I think it is the crisp, clean colors, and the simple, contemporary designs.

The elephant center block is the cutest yet! I'm not doing the quilt-along (I might do it in a few months retrospectively), but I'm loving watching your progress! This is definitely the kind of cheerful quilt I'm into!

I've died and gone to Heaven. I love your blocks. I didn't realize a quilt-a-long was going on. I'm going to have to jump in. I think I can manage doing a few blocks a week during my busy time at work.

Oh, how I love the yellows! So nice this time of year. I don't have time to quilt-along right now, but I am totally following along to see all of the colorful blocks! You have a real eye for combining colors and I feel like I learn things just by studying your photos.

Love your latest blocks and like the above commentor Nancy, I am trying to figure out why I am drawn to your designs & quilts...I think it is the use of white or neutral with the clean lines of the blocks and the pop of colour.
I'm behind, as in haven't started. But I HOPE and am determined to get going. Soon.
