I'm not sure what I'm doing with these yet . . . Right now, I'm just enjoying the fact that they look pretty.
Kona solid fat quarter bundles in "hot spice" and "poseidon" colorways.
Moda Cross-Weave cottons
Kaufman Radiance cotton/silk blend and Quilter's Lame (Moda?) from Bolt. (These are going to have to become some kind of super-luxe quilt!)
ETA: That looks really funny without the accent aigu. I mean that it's lah-may, not that the fabric is lame!

To make that accent, hold down alt and type 0233. :) é I learned it pretty quick with a name like Chérie. :D

Now you just have to add Essex Cotton/Linen blend to the bunch. Check it out at my online shop. It is a wonderful feel. Looking forward to seeing your quilt.

But maybe that will become the Lame quilt? Hahaha - that joke was Lame

I'm totally in love with solids! They look so gorgeous all lined up like that.

those are beautiful! i'll have to look for those cross weave cottons, they're really pretty.

Looking at those solids, is like looking at candy for me. They are wonderful...thanks for sharing!

I had to laugh because lamé didn't even occur to me until I read your edit. I was thinking it must be some kind of weaving term I didn't know (because who would name a fabric "lame")!
Love all those solids--I need to invest in a few myself.

LOVE those Moda Cross Weave Cotton fabrics.
Accent aigu. Haven't heard anyone else call it that since French class in high school. Everyone looks at me like I'm crazy when I tell them my name doesn't have the 'accent aigu'. Most call it an 'accent thingie' around here.

I have been watching/listening to 30 Rock while sewing. When I saw all of your beautiful fabrics, all I could think of was the character, Liz, saying "I want to go to there."
Hold "alt" and then type 130 on your number pad and you get é.

I have some of the lame that I bought a while back to use in a quilt, but decided to use a different fabric. So, I'm anxious to see what you do--I'm sure to be inspired as always. The alt key didn't work for me, but I knew you meant lame with an accent.

gorgeous! Does that cross weave cotton have a different weight or drape? It looks like it would be lovely for clothing, but I don't like making women's clothing with regular quilting cotton.

lovely très chic!

Boooootiful! Can't wait to see what you create with these!
(I'll echo the others, alt-130 for é. I've got two of them in my name ;) )

Gorgeous!!! Whatever you do with them will, as usual, be spectacular.
I love the "lame" (he he) fabrics.
You know, you need to host a camp or something, so that we can all sit adoringly at your feet and learn from you. Okay, that sounds a little stalker/creepy-ish, but you know what I mean.

I just ordered bunches of Kaffe Fassett shot cottons. And have you ever checked out Cherrywood? Hand-dyed solids in many spectrums. They just added Cherry rolls. They are kind of a sueded cotton. Gorgeous. And fabulous to sew with. I have lots of those too. Why am I not chained to my sewing machine? *sigh*

do you know of any place in Portland that is selling the moda cross weave? I looked in Fabric depot and didn't see it.

Is that cross weave like a shot cotton? It looks similar.

I can't wait to see what you do with those!!

gorgeous colors!
If you have a mac, it's even easier to add the accent: option+e, then e again.

all those FQ bundles really remind me of PANTONE color cards and yours just alluring LOL

Thanks for posting about the fabrics. I had not seen the Radiance line from Robert Kaufman before. We don't have a store like Bolt around here (love their blog). I have been looking for some silk blends for a few dress shirts for my husband and I think this might work. Never would have seen it if you hadn't posted about it. Thanks again!

Arrrgghh I can't find quilter's lame for sale anywhere (not more than one or two colors at a time, anyway). Sigh. Perhaps I should live in a place with good fabric stores.
