Love love love all three of those fabric bins!!! This holiday season, I will be making cheese fondue! It's an old family tradition- we have it every Christmas Eve! Right now I live in HI though, and for the past 2 years it hasn't quite turned out right. Something about the humidity messing with the cheese I think.... it still tastes great though, and I can't wait!!!!
p.s. my sister makes a fantastic buche de noel... that's a christmas day tradition for us!

Kym

If only my fabric bins had such awesome fabric! Thank you for putting up such a generous give-away.

This Christmas we'll be making a gingerbread train. It was going to be a house but for our first go we're cheating and bought a kit with all the fixings. I guess everyone else wanted a house too, since all that was left were trains.

Kayla

I'm participating in my first cookie exchange this year, which also happens to be a vegan cookie exchange. So I'll be baking up five or so dozen vegan cookies! Type of cookie still to be determined. :)

Lara

I'm making meringues - I'm not much of a cook, but I've got meringues down pat!

Beautiful fabrics Elizabeth.

i really really want to make the "concorde" dessert from Chefdruck's cooking blog. Yum! I've been baking up other things in the meantime, though... 7 layer bars, truffles, etc etc.

CraftyCripple

As I am going to be at the in-laws and they aren't much is the way of traditionalists I have no idea what we will be eating. However, they always supply a great range of cheeses, nuts and chocolates so I'm sure I'll be happy.

Thanks for offering such a great prize, it is very generous of you to offer your time and talent as well as the actual materials.

Hutsefluts

Oh my, you really want to give this away? Something so beautifull! If I win (and I probably will not) I hope you ship to the netherlands!
This christmas I'm not eating or drinking anything special I'm afraid. I've just been diagnosed with diabetes and I have to inject myself daily with insuline to keep my bloodsugar levels somewhat normal and that proves to be quite a challenge. So nothing to greasy or sugary for me this year.

Ellen

Ohm gosh. You caught my attention with those wonderful black and whites. Beautiful. You are amazing and so generous. I can waiting for the school holidays to begin (I'm a teacher). Actually I am counting down! Right now I am in the middle of moving and writing reports. This holiday season I am waiting for my best friend and her husband to visit from Hong Kong and also a bestie from Japan. I hope we get the chance to eat and drink lots and lots. Lots of giggles to be had! I particularly hope to drink (share) a bottle of Veuve Clicquot or two!!

It is getting hotter over here and so at Christmas I look forward to seafood. No cooking just assembling prawns and oysters and some champagne to finish off.
Thanks for the chance to win.

We have opened the "family bakery" as my husband says. We make chocolates of all kinds, cookies...multiple varieties and give them away as gifts in tins! This is our second year for this.

Kate

Oh i love Heather Ross fabric, what a fantastic idea. Being in Australia where it is hot we are making our own ginger beer and always always we make icecream christmas pudding.

Marit

You are so generous to make this offer!
A christmas tradition in our family is to have dry, smoked sheep ribs for christmas eve. The meat is slowly cooked for hours. This meal is a tradition as important as turkey on thanksgiving is for others. It may sound strange, but is delicious, with mashed kohlrabi and potatoes ; ) It is quite common to have this in Norway, an old way of cooking...

emmalei88

What a fabulous giveaway! My baby is due on Christmas and I havenʻt been able to do dairy, so I am anxiously awaiting ICE CREAM this Christmas!! I canʻt wait!

Jo

As we are in Australia this year, we will most likely be having fish and prawns cooked on the barbeque this year!! But we will also be doing our usual for breakfast which includes pancakes and chocolate covered strawberries! Yummm!!

Loving those black & whites!!

amandah

Oh, I'll be making my arsenal of Christmas cookies. Plus Chex Mix. This is such a great giveaway.

Annette

Every year for Christmas I bake raspberry nut pinwheel cookies and orange stuffed cookies. We all love them but somehow that is the only time of the year that I make them. So they have become a tradition.

What a generous giveaway. Someone is going to be very, very lucky indeed.

Virpi N

Hi!
I really love your blog AND the fabrics you so kindly will give away.
There is one thing that our family always have to and will bake every winter holiday season and that is my moms gingerbread. It is an very old recepie from Finland and they are lovely. If you want to, I can mail you how-to-do...

Michele

I agree with the others...what a generous give-away! There's always egg nog around our house during Christmas. This year cooking and baking will be a lot different from years past because of my three year old's food allergies (that she developed this year). I do have plans to make apple dumplings though.

Amy (badskirt)

We're overseas for holidays living out of a hotel on a skislope, so we aren't exactly eating, baking or drinking anything special. =/

For us, we'll just be enjoying ski slope food - heaps of soups and fries!

Thank you for hosting a giveaway and thank you for all of the useful posts on your blog!

Anita

Oh my word - what a generous giveaway. I will be eating traditional British fayre of mince pies, shortbread, christmas pudding and brandy butter. Christmas is not the time for diet food.

Sheridan

What a great prize!

This Christmas I'll be making a steamed chocolate Christmas pudding that, 3 years ago, my guests went wild over. I haven't made it since, but I am salivating at the thought of it.

Alice S

Wow! It would be an honor to win a baby quilt made by you. I LOVE the Far, Far Away fabric.

I don't have any grand baking plans, but will likely make crockpot candy at some point.

Cat

Wow! What a fantastic giveaway.

This Christmas I'm going to attempt baking my own stollen - a colleague made some last year and passed the recipe on, so I'm determined to give it a go!

chia

wow, thanks for the giveaway.
this yr we would be spending christmas in capetown so before we leave, i would bake biscotti for family and friends along with the handmade sewing goodies.

Megan kay

Holy Moley I would love to win this one!

Well down here in Australia where it is hot for christmas, we will be making lots of Sangria and having lots of fresh seafood - prawns, lobster etc and there will be plenty of fresh salads being made.
