This month's project for Sew, Mama, Sew! is a set of Nesting & Stacking Blocks made with Lecien prints and natural linen.
I made a set of four blocks, three, four, five and six inches square.
They can be nested. . .
. . . or stacked.
The outsides are quilted patchwork panels, which were really fun to make!
As usual, you can get the tutorial here.

Wonderful timing! I am planning on making my daughter storage cubes for her play area and wasn't sure how I wanted to make them! Lovely!

These are adorable!! Thanks for the tute!! I think I'm going to make 4 all the same size (6") for some storage in my guest bathroom! I try to have everything a guest will need, and some people are shy about poking into cabinets, so this way, it'll all be out in the open.

I know this is off topic, but just wanted to say a big THANK YOU for your Quilt Along tutorial. I have no instructions with my machine for free motion quilting, (10 year old computerized Viking Rose), and couldn't find info anywhere! Your tutorial helped me figure out how to do it on my own, without needing to buy a new (and expensive) foot. While I didn't follow the quilt along pattern exactly, I did let it inspire one of my 8 quilts. In case you're curious, you can see it here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=310235.msg3561079#msg3561079
THANK YOU!!!
