That's exactly what this was. I apparently just couldn't resist the lure of another quilt-along! If you haven't already heard about Amanda Jean's quilt-along, you can read about it here.
I'm trailing everyone else by a couple of weeks, but I guess that's fine. My blocks are going to be made entirely with scraps of both vintage linens and monochromatic (or almost monochromatic) prints. I used all polka dots this week but, if I want to use all scraps, that's not going to hold up for every single block.
I'm also planning to make the pieced border like in the sample quilt, so I'm cutting an additional 2.5" square from each of my fabrics to set aside for that.
You can check out photos from other quilt-alonger's in Amanda Jean's Flickr Pool.

I love them. They have such great colors

You have the best fabrics with gorgeous prints and colours. I haven't seen a quilt on your blog that I haven't loved. The nine patches are gorgeous colours.

The vintage linens give it such a great feel (I hope that makes sense).
The blocks are all looking great.

I signed up for this, but like your quilt-along, I am just along for the ride.
I never seem to find the time to quilt :(

This looks like it will be yet another stunning quilt! I love your sense of color. I have a hard time picking fabrics for a quilt. I think I tend to be too "matchy matchy".

I love your fabrics so much better than what I've been picking out of my stash for my 9-patch blocks so far. But hey, at least I am using it all up, right? I've had to put myself on a fabric-buying hold. NO more.
I can't wait to see what yours looks like when it's all finished!

I have this website in my 'favourites' - I just love to check it every few days. You have given me such inspiration - I have just started a quilt as a result. Thanks so much for sharing these beautiful, stylish, informative skills with everybody. I live in Manly in Australia and I am thrilled to have 'stumbled upon' this wonderful website.
