My Fabric Focus article for February is now up at Sew, Mama, Sew! The featured fabric this month is Jay McCarroll's Woodland Wonderland.
The tutorial is for simple Ponytail Scarves from fat quarters.
Thank you to Margaret and Lily for modeling!
Because the scarves only took a portion of each fat quarter, I also made this little mat, inspired by Alissa's awesome doll quilt tutorial.
I was working with bits and pieces, so the back and binding are both pieced.

Love the orange in the quilt. Looks great. I am on a orange kick thanks to Pat

Cute! I didn't even like that stump fabric until I saw it in the ponytail scarf. Funny how that happens!

I would have never thought of putting the orange in there either but it works! I need some serious color tutoring...

Very creative use of a fat quarter. I love that you use all the scraps in other projects. Coincidentally I have a friend named Margaret with a daughter named Lily. I don't comment often but I am quite obsessed with your blog. You do a wonderful job sharing your talents and creativity. Thank you so much. =]

I follow your blog, and always enjoy it. How cool that you used Jay McCarroll's fabric, and made cute hair ties! (I also love the quilt projects you do!)

The doll quilt is really adorable. I love it and love it even more because it used up your scraps.
