This pattern (Simple Modern Baby Quilts) was permanently retired in Summer 2010, but has been replaced with an updated pattern called More Simple Modern Baby Quilts. The new pattern doesn't involve Minky or animal appliques, but does include additional piecing styles, including matching pieced backs. Where do you find furry felt? It sounds like the perfect applique material. I've been looking since you first mentioned it, and I can't find it anywhere. I'm getting desperate! You know how it is when you find about something you just have to try.
