This is the top of the quilt I'm making my nephew, Elliot, for Christmas. These pictures, which were taken at night, are not the best. (The green isn't really that crazy bright.)
Lily (Elliot's older sister) and Elliot have been using tablecloths from my wedding (they were patchwork, so it's not actually as weird as it sounds) as bedspreads for the past couple of years, so I'm making them both twin quilts for their beds.
That's two of five Christmas quilt tops done! Here's where I stand now:
Elliot's Bed Quilt: Top done. Need to order backing fabric.
Lily's Bed Quilt: Cut, not sewn. I have all fabric.
Olivia's Lap Quilt: Top done. Need to order backing fabric.
Kathy's (Chris' Mother's) Lap Quilt: Cut, not sewn. I have all fabric.
Chris' Vintage NBA Quilt: Fabric Ordered.

That's an impressive list of quilts to make before Christmas! I'm struggling to finish a list that is not even half as long. LOL.
I love the quilt in the pictures! It'll look fantastic once you quilt it :)

I love the solid green fabric you used for that quilt. I've been looking for some solids in a great shade of green like that.

This is a cute quilt I really like it and if my son saw it he would want it for his own bed. I have a to do list but I'm not as far on it as you, but Braeden's quilt is coming along. I hope to post about it soon at whiteplumsews.blogspot.com

Oooh, I love the greens, blues and occassional brown accents. I cant wait to see this quilted and completed with binding too.
I always am imagining new girly coloured quilts. I need to think about boy colours some more. Might help if I had a son or a nephew to sew for.
FYI - Give away on my blog at the moment. Happens to be for a girly girl doll!

I love the green and brown combo. And it's a great choice of pattern, too. I like how you included some strips of the green in the patchwork strips--it really breaks them up nicely. This is yet another one of your quilts that I've added to my "to be copied" list!
